talking points project
Our Talking Points projects will be asking a selection of acupuncture practitioners to tell us the acupuncture points they've used on their last ten patients.
Objectives
- To examine the diversity or similarity of acupuncture point choices between different styles of acupuncture in real-life practice - To enable practitioners to reflect on their point selection - To provide feedback to acupuncture colleges on the frequency of the use of different points, which may influence how point locations or functions are taught
- To promote mutual understanding and debate within the Chinese Medicine practitioner community - Though evidence-based research, to build the reputation of Chinese Medicine in the UK as a serious and effective profession
